I’m Artem Mirzabekian.

I am an iOS Engineer, a Tech Lead, and a Doctor of Medicine.

Some people ask me what Livsy means. Livsy is the nickname that I picked when I was in school. I was a massive fan of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, and I loved Dr. Livesey. I changed his name up a bit and made it my nickname. I was stoked with my choice back then, and I’ve been using it everywhere ever since. I also wanted to be a doctor, like Dr. Livesey, and I did become one (however, there is an opinion that Dr. Livesey was not a real doctor). Eventually, I decided to switch things up and pursue my other passion—the IT industry.

I’ve mentored developers in our team, and they say I’m pretty good at it. So, I created this website to spread some of my humble knowledge more broadly.
